I write funny, emotional stories about the complexities of modern romance.
My next novel, DADDY ISSUES, will be out this November.

Hi. Nice to meet you. 👋
As a child, I saw Working Girl on cable and decided that grown-up life meant commuting to a Manhattan high-rise in sneakers. Years later, I left my midwestern village, booked a room at the 92nd Street Y, and dove headfirst into a long-term relationship with New York City.
Putting my film degree from Vassar College to good use, I worked in several of the city's media archives and museums (none of them high-rises), before embarking on grad school at Georgia Tech. Technically, I’m an engineer.
I’ve designed experiences for museums and brands—from interactive exhibits to epic digital billboards to immersive audio storytelling. I get to use new technologies to create narratives and unforgettable moments. In a wild twist of fate, I had the privilege of designing exhibits for a film museum on the other side of the world!
I write love stories. 💕
There’s nothing more satisfying than a banter-heavy, character-driven romantic comedy. I think fiction that depicts the challenges and nuances of romantic and sexual relationships is vitally important.
Truthfully, I’ve never been into fairytales. I don’t usually sigh over stories where two lovers are kept apart by external circumstances. It’s the characters who have to fight some kind of internal battle that fascinate me. I like complicated people. I want to see two misfits overcome their own hangups and doubts and take a leap of faith together.
Which is totally not a thing I have personally experienced. 😬
